Well, It's been a long time since any of us blogged....
Sorry about that Peeps...you see it's Capital's 10th Birthday and everyone in this office is running around like a headless chicken if you know what I mean.
Otherwise we are still alive and working hard. Sean is on leave right now and we have Marcus fillin in, so you can all relax. Seanice will be coming back and I know you miss her so...we do too.
Anyway, do you sometimes feel like you're working so much that all you can do is laugh hysterically at yourself? Because that is how i feel at this particular moment in time. I wish i could just take a bleeding holiday! I'm sure you do too...I propose that workers everywhere (except the peeps that work at holiday resorts) all go on strike and meet up at our favourite vacationing spot...AGREED?!
Common a girl can dream can't she? oh well,
Speaking about dreaming...I got to interview Derrick Assetto from Survivor Africa. He's a pretty nice guy...really down to earth it seems. If you're not familiar with Derick let me refresh you're memory...
Now I have some exclusive pics of this hunk-a-hunk burnin' muscle...I just need clearance and ladies... you have permission to drool!
Anyway, while i was interviewing him. He thought that I looked incredibly like Tebby. She's a fellow Survivor who went to Panama with him. Now I think he must have been on that island waaaayyyy too long cause i've seen her... we look nothing alike!

While I do that...some of you will be glad to know that "Munchkin" is BACK! Those of you not formally introduced to Munchkin...listen to the show...and you'll hear my best matey!

@Jazz: Nice to hear from finally, and 'Munchkin' is back? Now isn't that great!!! I am so happy that Capital is turning 10, and I can vividly recall all the steps made. I was in high school when this epic journey started. I was wondering what happened to Sean, as no one elaborated on the show. Seems Marcus likes being in control so no one bothered even telling us where she is. Am also on leave so I can attest that it is fun!
I think Survivor Africa is a great show, now that it is all shot and we await the winner, a concept that is rare in today's quickbuck reality shows. I agree you look like Tebby, but don't take me seriously, all women look alike to me! But you look great in that picture gal, cowboy hat and all.
Gotta continue watching soccer now....

Tebby is here so tell me if she doesn't look like you! She' a bit slender, slightly darker, less feminine, but she looks like you anyhow!
The soccer was superb, the goals flowed like a superbly matured Kenyan beer and Barcelona, Chelsea and Bayern Munich, to name a few, won but my team of the night, Liverpool stuttered and drew with PSV.

Stiffy, they don look alike in anyway! Jazz is a cute chick..look at Tebby, she looks like dark, slim...Jazz looks brown, shorter than Tebby, loving! hahhaha..they don resemble in anyway.
Hey Jazz! Derrick is in dire need of glasses you 2 look nothing close to being alike. Missing Sean atleast she's coming back... Speaking of you guyz leaving us hanging dry taking away presenters once we 'bond' whatever happened to Kev??? (sob!sob!) Now there was a good reason for waking up early in the morn... since that time he serenaded me over the radio. (gotta dream sista!)

@azthedance: I have heard worse things myself, but I think Jazz's bit came from the number of comments I have seen on blogs and entertaimenment sites talking about having a baby in Namibia since Jolie and Brad Pitt got theirs there, she probably didn't mean to demean anyone..
@Pekiro, we lost no problem, but we'll be back.. I hope we draw either Man U or Barca as early as the second round. We've been on a losing spree, but that shall signal a big renaissance....

Even if you do not, for the most part, like the segment there’s no need to stomp one’s work by insisting that it is not entertaining and, as you so eloquently put it, “trash”.

I have not replied to your comments mainly because you’ve stirred no desire in me to do so… until now. You are entitled to your opinions, but let's try to be a little diplomatic about how we handle our so called "disappointments" shall we?
I too am disappointed because your comments were not helpful in anyway, there is such a thing as Constructive Criticism, which are helpful. I do not wish to offend you or anyone else for that matter, that’s not my intention. I simply needed you to understand that we at Capital Fm are human beings not heartless machines. So what you say, or think is taken seriously, be they suggestions, information, insults, or concerns…we do listen. Without our listeners radio becomes irrelevant, meaning we would not go out of our way to offend our audience. Behind the voice is a person trying to do the best they can everyday, to entertain, and do their level best at their job. Please do not forget that.
